
My Approach
My approach has been described as warm, genuine, and direct. I believe that counselling is an art that begins with the conversation and connection between therapist and client. I also practice from the perspective that providing presence and human connection is fundamental to healing. I recognize the uniqueness of each client; therefore, I use a blend of therapeutic approaches and will tailor my work to your needs. I will support you in working through difficult emotions and getting past roadblocks, while creating a safe place for you to explore what may feel too difficult or overwhelming to process alone. I love to learn and will always seek new opportunities for education so that I can continue to practice from a well-rounded approach.

Some of the main frameworks I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength Based, Narrative, Humanistic, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma Focused, and Mindfulness.
